Migrating from another app
The file
In Migration you download the CSV template, fill in your customers (Shopify customer id or email, and the balance) and upload it. With the template you bring balances, pending points, birthdays and who does not want the program's emails.
Preview and import
Before importing you see a preview with all the totals and the rows that could not be read. The import sends no email to customers. A second import brings only the differences.
Switch day
In Migration, the switch page gives you the steps in order and checks by itself the ones it can. In short:
- Import the balances a few days before: you check the preview and can undo the import within 30 days.
- While the old app gives points, keep Zestly in draft: with Zestly nobody earns points, and orders paid meanwhile are set aside.
- Turn off earning in the old app and say when you did: at most 60 days earlier.
- Run the final import, then turn Zestly on.
- Press «Recover the switch's orders»: orders paid between turning the old app's earning off and turning Zestly on get their points, with today's rules. Orders paid before that do not: the old app already rewarded them.
